What a beautiful spot! My sister and I went with our three dogs for a birthday weekend and enjoyed the house very much. It's the perfect size for a getaway, and it matched the photos and description perfectly. I slept in the primary bedroom and the mattress was amazing (for those who might worry about uncomfortable beds). The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare our own meals, and we had plenty of space to relax on the one day it rained. There are neighbors close by, but it's a quiet area and we didn't hear them at all. All-in-all an great spot. I will certainly book again in the future!

Cozy two bedroom/one bath garden apt style space, newly renovated in older row house. Lots of nice stay-friendly touches - including large umbrella that came in handy. Host provided clear instructions about, check in and out, use of TV, etc. and was very responsive. Kitchen is well equipped. Fridge is smaller under-counter model and, consistent with listing, there is no cooktop or oven. Very clean with newer bedding and towels. Quiet, residential neighborhood. 1 1/2 blocks from Aldi grocery store on H St, which also has assorted restaurants, shops, etc.

Eugene’s place was clean, spacious and well equipped. We would be happy to stay here again. If you aren’t familiar with DC, this house is just slightly off the beaten path but still pretty close to most things you would want to do. Not an extremely walkable neighborhood but that was not what we were looking for.

Eugene’s house was a great stay! There were a few minor hiccups during the stay but he was able to resolve the issues quickly. Our friends loved the basement with the arcade games and ping pong table.

The house had everything and then some. Even when it was missing some minor items, Eugene was proactive and made sure to address any concerns. The cabin is great, the views are great, everything was great. Game Room was fun and the hot tub was amazing. Our friends and family loved it all. Thanks again Eugene.

The house was great, nice neighborhood, equipped kitchen, very cozy place and my son and daughter loved the game room as well. Eugene was a great host and I will stay again in the future

This was a great place to stay in DC! The space was comfortable for the three of us, and the location couldn’t be better—within walking distance to grocery stores and lots of great restaurants. Everything was easy and convenient, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Eugene really went out of his way to ensure my family and I had a great experience. Even decorated the house for Christmas. Everything looked like the photos and couldn’t be any more clean! Would definitely stay there again!

Host Eugene is friendly and excellent with communication! He was gracious in accommodating our family in town for a funeral. The home is just beautiful, exactly as pictured. I highly recommend this home for families or friends, and would definitely choose this specific home again. 6 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms gave everyone privacy, and the large, open kitchen/dining/living room was perfect for socializing, game night, watching football & being with family. The second family room downstairs is fairly childproof with no sharp corners on the table, a lower type sofa for little ones, and space for younger kids to play games. Our party of 9, plus a few family visitors, have not a single complaint. It was exactly what we needed and so much more than we were expecting. Thank you to our host, Eugene. We appreciate everything!

Perfectly appointed with a real wood burning stove, a handsome kitchen with all the cooking accessories you need to whip up a romantic feast, and probably the most comfortable king sized bed I have ever slept in, this adorable home offers all you need for a quick getaway that’s close to the district, yet far enough away to forget about the stresses of life that distract us from the ones we love.
