Arena, and a 20-minute walk to the National Mall with its lovely Smithsonian Museums, White House, Chinatown, with some of the city's best dining and nightlife a stone's throw away. Good to know

The space is well lit and has own bathroom, kitchen, and private unit entrance and common building stairway that is outside the units. You will NOT go through other units to access your airbnb. Message us if you are interested in toddler friendly stay options. We’d be happy to help set up baby/toddler friendly arrangement for you. The property is a block away from Mount Vernon yellow and green line metro stop. If arriving from DCA (Reagan) airport : you have an option to take the yellow line towards Greenbelt from the DCA airport and get down at Mount Vernon stop. If arriving from IAD(dulles) airport: you have the option to take the silver line towards largo. Take the silver line and get down at L’enfant metro stop. At L’enfant metro stop, change from silver line to yellow or green line towards Huntington and Branch Avenue respectively. at L’enfant metro stop you'll be changing platforms (going to upper level) to get to the yellow and green line. Once you are in yellow or green line, get down at Mount Vernon metro stop. Your Airbnb is a block away from Mount Vernon metro stop.

Please make sure to choose the appropriate number of guests on the reservation. For example, if you are a family of 3, please choose 3 guests. Currently the unit is offered at a discount for single guests. The cleaner will be setting up the unit for the number of guests on the reservation. Additional charges per guest is $25 per guest per night. This is a 3-floor townhome converted into Airbnb. Think of this as a three story apartment building, all with its own separate entrance through a common stairway that is outside the airbnb units. This unit is on floor 2 and will require climbing the type of stairs that you find in normal townhomes. Please checkout the guidebook attachment to the listing for more information about city, getting around, and places to eat. If you book for more than 2 guests, let us know in advance so we can provide rollaway beds. we provide upto 3 rollaway beds for this unit. In addition, our existing futon opens up as well. We can also provide air mattress. Typically guests prefer to set up the beds after their arrival, upon inspection of the space, futon, and airmattress. Let us know what you prefer. if 3+, guest preference has been: 1 futon 1 futon, 1 rollaway 1 futon, 2 rollaway 1 futon, 1 rollaway, 1 airmattress 1 futon, 2 rollaway, 1 airmattress. Please let us know a day in advance so we can prep them for your stay. Please note that it will be a bit tight for >4 guests in ~750 sqft (typically larger than most DC/NYC hotel rooms). But, we’ll be happy to accommodate you, if you are looking for an affordable quick stay for a 5 people group. On rare occasions, we do accommodate 6 guests but please note that it will be very tight and do not recommend if staying for more than couple of nights. if you'd like to book for 6, send us a message inquiry and we'll update the guest number at our end. Plenty of DC homes have this floor as a 2 bedroom units. But we’ve left ours as a spacious 1 bedroom unit and provide additional beds, if needed, to create a sense of spaciousness in the tight city. Guests are often pleasantly surprised of how spacious it is. ✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold (not a traditional deposit — just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative, you may purchase a non-refundable damage waiver from a third-party insurer. The waiver is optional. We live 7 minutes walk away from 3 of the top 3 Washington DC dining areas. Founding Farmers is a great dining place. Rumi's kitchen is right across from our home (2 min walk). Busboy and Poets, Alta Strada, dLena, Ottoman Tavern, and Baan Siam are some of our favorite dining areas under 5-10 minutes walking distance, which guests love. Our favorite breakfast places are A Baked Joint, Pearl's Bagels (quick eatery), Founding Farmers, and Petite Cerise (cute French cafe). If you are a vegan and looking for Gluten Free, Nut Free, and Dairy Free option - Fruitive, Sweet Green, and Little Beet are all under 10 mins walk away. If you want to work in a cafe, check out Foxtrot, Dolcezza @ Gallery Place, Tatte, and Picolina de Centrolina, which are also within walking distance. We are 20-25 minutes away from major Washington DC monuments and tourist attractions. Plenty of Lime scooters are nearby for each access. Our guests have appreciated the grocery store, a block from us.

Find us

We have 2 hour parking in front of our place, that doesn’t require parking pass. No limit on hours on Sunday. There are plenty of parking lots nearby. we have one spot in the back (in the alley) where Nathan parks his car where he charges his car. We might be able to make an exception on occasions. the access to the spot is around the block through the 5th street.
