Please make sure to choose the appropriate number of guests on the reservation. For example, if you are a family of 3, please choose 3 guests. Currently, the unit is offered at a discount. The cleaner will be setting up the unit for the number of guests on the reservation. Additional charges per guest are $25 per guest per night after 2 guests. This is a 3-floor townhome converted into an Airbnb. Think of this as a three-story apartment building, all with its own separate entrance through a common stairway that is outside the Airbnb units. This unit is on floor 1 and will not require climbing inside the building. But, to access the entrance, you would have to climb a short ~7 steps. Please check out the guidebook attachment to the listing for more information about the city, getting around, and places to eat. If you book for more than 2 guests, let us know in advance so we can provide additional sleeping options - we provide a queen airmattress and a twin airmattress. Please let us know a day in advance so we can prep them for your stay. On rare occasions, we do accommodate 6 guests, but please note that it will be a bit tight. if you'd like to book for 6, send us a message inquiry, and we'll update the guest number at our end. Plenty of DC homes have this floor as a 2-bedroom unit. But we’ve left ours as a spacious 1-bedroom unit and provide additional beds, if needed, to create a sense of spaciousness in the tight city. Guests are often pleasantly surprised of how spacious it is. ✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold (not a traditional deposit — just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative, you may purchase a non-refundable damage waiver from a third-party insurer. The waiver is optional.
