As an English basement dwelling, please be aware that there are inhabitants upstairs and you may hear steps and other house sounds that are common with apartment living. Please note that the unit does not have an oven. 🅿️ Parking permit for one vehicle. Additionally, pets are not allowed on the premises—please respect this request. ✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $37 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional. To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots. Cute place to serve as a home base while exploring the nations capital! It’s 1/2 a mile walk to Union Station for public transit to anywhere. Easy walk to some local restaurants or markets. He left some great books on the shelf, some games, and a TV.

Eugene was a wonderful host. His instruction for accessing the house were clear and easy to follow. We ran into an issue during our stay and Eugene reached out multiple times through the app, called by phone and ensured that it was resolved before we left. He was an outstanding host.

Eugene’s apartment was exactly as advertised! Clean, stocked with everything we needed.l and comfy beds. We love the Cap Hill area location with stores, coffee shops and restaurants close by. Would def stay here again - Eugene is a great host!

As a highly walkable neighborhood, North Capitol Hill is a great area for walking and enjoying the beautiful row homes and little shops as you explore. Street parking is available but just be mindful of signs and also display the parking pass when parking on the street. Buses are readily available and a great way to get around as well.
