As an English basement dwelling, please be aware that there are inhabitants upstairs and you may hear steps and other house sounds that are common with apartment living. Please note that the unit does not have an oven. 🅿️ Parking permit for one vehicle. Additionally, pets are not allowed on the premises—please respect this request. ✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $37 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional. The damage waiver does not cover extra cleaning fee. To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. The apartment was a 15 min walk from capitol building and union station so a great spot for starting tours and sight seeing. The apartment itself is cozy and super clean. Very very quiet and felt safe. Eugene was a fantastic host - responsive & helpful and was flexible worth check in and out. Would recommend staying here as is a bargain in comparison to the hotel prices!

I really enjoyed my stay here! The place is beautiful and in such a great spot downtown D.C. The beds were super comfy and the bedding was great quality — everything felt cozy and welcoming. Would definitely stay again!

Cute place to serve as a home base while exploring the nations capital! It’s 1/2 a mile walk to Union Station for public transit to anywhere. Easy walk to some local restaurants or markets. He left some great books on the shelf, some games, and a TV.

As a highly walkable neighborhood, North Capitol Hill is a great area for walking and enjoying the beautiful row homes and little shops as you explore. Street parking is available but just be mindful of signs and also display the parking pass when parking on the street. Buses are readily available and a great way to get around as well.
