Climb up to your own quiet corner of the city. This is the top floor of a historic three-story 1900s rowhouse in Mt. Vernon Square, and it's our most recently renovated unit, with new floors and a modern kitchen. At about 500 sq ft, it's a light-filled nook built for couples and solo travelers who want their own private place downtown. You get your own entrance, kitchen and full bath, plus the two things that make a DC stay easy: fast Wi-Fi and your own in-unit washer and dryer, so you can pack light. Being on the top floor makes it the quietest of our three units. Where you'll sleep (up to 4) - Bedroom: queen bed - Living room: couch - One full bathroom Booking for more than 2 guests? Message us before you book and a team member will confirm the sleeping setup. The kitchen and dining A modern kitchen with an induction cooktop (induction-ready cookware provided). Coffee lovers are covered: French press, drip and a Keurig, with grounds, pods and filters on hand. Toaster, microwave, mini-fridge and a dining spot too. Living and comfort Private living room with a smart TV (sign in to your own streaming accounts) and 1 Gbps Verizon Fios Wi-Fi. Central A/C in summer and classic radiator heat in winter. There is no thermostat inside the apartment: heat is shared across the building, so just message us and we'll dial it in. Stairs The apartment is two flights up a shared staircase, with no elevator, so it isn't a fit for guests who can't manage stairs. All walk times approximate - Mt. - Two flights of stairs up to the apartment, no elevator; not a fit for guests who can't manage stairs. - Pets welcome (up to 2) with a pet fee; list them on your reservation. - No parties or events. - No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property. - Minimum age to book: 25. - Please book the exact number of guests, and tell us your estimated arrival time, so we can prepare for your stay. - The induction cooktop only works with induction-ready cookware (provided); regular pans won't heat. - This is a three-unit building with neighbors below. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM, and please skip jumping or HIIT workouts. - Please don't run the washer and dryer between 10 PM and 6 AM; it carries sound to the other floors. - Exterior Ring cameras cover the front door and back yard. There are no cameras inside the apartment. - Licensed DC short-term rental; the registration number is shown on this listing. - Early check-in or late checkout can be requested in your guest portal, subject to availability. Before your stay, you'll complete a quick online check-in with a signed rental agreement and ID verification, to keep every stay safe and to confirm who is staying. Mt. Vernon Square is one of the most walkable, best-connected corners of DC, right between the Convention Center, Chinatown and the Penn Quarter dining scene. Downtown energy below, a quiet perch to come home to up top.

Guest Access

The whole top-floor apartment is yours: private entrance, kitchen, living room, bedroom and bath. Contactless self check-in with a keypad, so arrive on your schedule. Come to the front of the building on 6th St NW, never the alley. Go through the outer gate to the building's front door (first keypad), then walk two flights up the shared staircase to your apartment door, which has its own keypad. The same code opens both doors: it's the last 4 digits of the phone number on your reservation, and it's also in your SuiteOp guest portal. It's a walk-up with no elevator, so take your time with luggage. The alley, patio and back deck aren't part of the rental.

Find us

You won't need a car. The Metro is one block away and puts the Mall, the monuments, the Wharf and Reagan National a short ride off. From DCA (Reagan): Yellow line toward Greenbelt, off at Mount Vernon Sq. Your door is a block away. From IAD (Dulles): Silver line to L'Enfant Plaza, go upstairs to the Yellow or Green line, off at Mount Vernon Sq. If you do drive: there is no guest parking at the building, and cars left in the alley or the spot behind the building are towed. Street parking nearby is limited to 2 hours unless you have a free DC visitor parking permit, which you must request online before you park. The step-by-step parking instructions will be provided in your SuiteOp guidebook. Please watch the posted street-cleaning signs. Paid garages are about a block away; overnight rates vary, so check the posted rate before you leave the car.
