Great place to stay for a weekend out of the city! Loved the views, lots of places to sit outside, and hot tub. Would definitely recommend for a couple or small group

Cute place to serve as a home base while exploring the nations capital! It’s 1/2 a mile walk to Union Station for public transit to anywhere. Easy walk to some local restaurants or markets. He left some great books on the shelf, some games, and a TV.

Great place, and a really nice location. The house was just as expected from the description, with an amazing view. Really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. Absolutely 5 star stay, but just a few comments: The spiral stairs to the upstairs are narrow - taking my carry-on size suitcase up there was tight. A very friendly Husky visited a couple days. Welcome surprise, but if you don't like dogs (or traveling with a dog that doesn't like dogs), you'll want to keep the deadbolt locked. Biggest complaint is the required external "Happy Guest" site. As a privacy conscious person, I don't like uploading images of front AND back of ID, AND selfie holding ID to an untrusted 3rd party, registered to a rented mailbox in FL. Read their privacy policy and ToS first if that stuff matters to you (basically says they can do whatever they want with your images, but provides no details on what they actually do with them). Not sure I'd stay at a place that required that again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! This home was a wonderful surprise for my husband and his family. It’s spacious, spotless, and beautifully open — even better in person than in the photos. Every amenity was thoughtfully provided, making our visit truly comfortable and memorable. Eugene was fantastic to communicate with — very responsive and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return!

Perfect remote home base to relax, discover surrounding areas and enjoy ! House is much bigger than it looks on pictures and heated pool/gaming room were awesome ! Definitely would visit again !

A great spot up in the hills above the Shenandoah river, the pool was lovely and warm and went down a treat with the kids. The house is well equipped and feels very modern.

If you’re looking for a quiet retreat where you don’t have to see any people if you don’t want to- this is the spot! Loved watching the sunsets from the porch each night. Something about the mountains calms the soul.

Eugene's townhouse was one of the most exceptional stays I've experienced! It was just as described and even better. His home is gorgeously decorated and very well kept. There was plenty of room for my family of 7 (5 adults, 1 kid, 1 baby) and everyone felt relaxed and comfortable in their bedrooms. The kitchen offered all we needed to cook meals at home, store food, and get our coffee fixes. It was extra nice having a suite downstairs with a kitchenette and separate, full bathroom for my husband, daughter, and myself. It was also so great having a pack n play and highchair available to us for our daughter; two adorable fitted sheets were also included with the pack n play. Our family was mostly out and about, but when we were there, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and we always found parking in front. There is also one private parking spot behind the townhouse. Eugene was a wonderful and attentive host, and I highly recommend Positive Stays if you're in the neighborhood!

Had such a relaxing and peaceful stay at Eugene’s! The view was insane and I loved looking at the stars at night. Am already looking for future availability so I can go back :) You won’t regret booking this place!

Eugene was a wonderful host. His instruction for accessing the house were clear and easy to follow. We ran into an issue during our stay and Eugene reached out multiple times through the app, called by phone and ensured that it was resolved before we left. He was an outstanding host.
