⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing Experience! A Weekend to Remember! We had the most incredible weekend celebrating my sister’s 60th birthday with our family, and Eugene was simply an outstanding host from start to finish. The cabin was absolutely fabulous, spacious, clean, beautifully maintained, and fully accommodating for our entire family. Every detail was thoughtfully in place to make us feel at home. From peaceful mornings on the porch to fun-filled afternoons in the pool and game room, this space gave us everything we needed to laugh, connect, and make priceless memories together. Whether we were enjoying outdoor time or gathered inside for games and laughter, every moment was full of joy and togetherness. Thank you, Eugene, for helping make this milestone celebration so special. Your hospitality and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for the perfect spot for a family getaway or celebration.

7 adults and 7 kids 11 and under. We had plenty of room and the amenities were great. The game room was a huge hit. We used the fire pit twice. Perfect for S’Mores and sitting around while kids chased fire flies. Just a wonderful time making memories.

We had a wonderful stay. Apartment was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Eugene checked in periodically to see if we needed anything but we had all that we needed. Neighborhood was quiet. Only a 15 minute walk to Union Station from where we ventured across the DC area. We would stay here again.

This was a fantastic property with plenty to do that we never felt that we had to leave the house! Our group loved the game room inside and the deck and pool was awesome! Everything was clean and the host was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Would definitely recommend this place!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at the pond house. The game room was a huge hit with the kids and adults alike. The home is huge with plenty of beds for everyone. We didn’t use much of the kitchens (there are two) but appliances seemed nice and provided linens were comfortable in the many bedrooms. Also every bed was provided with multiple towels and washcloths. I would highly recommend the location to any medium to large size groups, especially those with children.

We loved staying at Eugene’s chalet. It was ice cold when we walked in out of the hot July summer. Our boys, 14 and 7, lived the game room. They played everything; arcade games, foosball and darts. The house was clean and every thing lived up to our expectations. Eugene was very responsive and helpful.

Eugene was super helpful and checked on us to make sure check in went well, and made sure if we needed anything, to reach out. The place was just as described. He had helpful hints for arrival, and knowing about the driveway ahead of time was an important tip!! The views were amazing, having coffee on the decks were so peaceful. The full kitchen was perfect for the nights we wanted to stay in. The hot tub was a pleasant plus! Not having to pack linens or towels was nice. Even on a rainy day, Eugene’s place was amazing. You are close enough to tons of things to do, but feel far enough away to disconnect. I would recommend his place to friends and family.

This was the exact cozy getaway that I was seeking. Only a short 2 hour drive from DVC and located on a secluded hillside with a great view. The cabin was very comfortable with everything I needed for a 6 day stay. There were no issues, but Eugene communicated with me periodically to make sure everything was ok. I would stay here again.

My Husband and I stayed here for one night and we absolutely loved the place. The house its self is gorgeous. While there the WiFi went out and the host immediately addressed the problem. 10/10 would stay again!

Beautiful getaway! Everything was as mentioned in the listing and we felt right at home. Great location - extremely peaceful and surrounded by nature, but close enough to I-81 and Routes 211/340 for day trips. There is plenty to do in the area (e.g., Shenandoah NP, wineries, caverns, historical towns/sites etc.). The cabin itself has a very warm and cozy feeling - may be a tad small for 4 people but absolutely perfect for 2. The attention to detail was beyond what we've typically experienced in other rentals - the kitchen was very well stocked including 2 different types of coffeemakers, good pans/utensils, basic condiments and a variety of coffees/teas. We also appreciated small touches such as luggage racks in each room, extra towels, laundry detergent, multiple tissue boxes throughout, firewood etc. The deck is a great place to hang out and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. As for the host, he was very quick to respond and super helpful. Thank you!
